Short Term Accommodation (STA)
Short Term Accommodation (STA)
Short Term Accommodation (STA), commonly referred to as respite, provides you with a short break away from your usual home and offers caregivers a valuable opportunity to take a temporary break.
We tailor your respite experience to your preferences.
If you're an Adventure Seeker, your respite could include but would not be limited to games, scavenger hunts, nature walks, camping and kayaking.
If you prefer Relaxation and Chill, your respite could include but would not be limited to movie nights, art, spa treatments and guided relaxation exercises.
For those who enjoy A Bit of Everything, we can organise your respite activities before your scheduled support. These can include those listed above or other activities such as cooking, music, board games and talent shows.
To ensure you are comfortable during group respites (at a 1:2 ratio), we will match you with a like-minded individual with similar interests so you can both enjoy the available activities. Individual respite is also available, provided this level of support has been approved by the NDIS.
This service is offered at our Centre and includes provisions such as personal care, accommodation, meals and negotiated activities. Other locations along the Eyre Peninsula may be available upon request.
STA/Respite is staffed by experienced Support Workers that provide a fun, holistic and caring environment.
